AND THE WINNER IS...
The film clip idea competition has come to a final close with TRISTAN HOUGHTON from DZ's home town taking out the best idea. Tristian's work with Zoom Film and Television as a junior director allowed him to turn a rad idea into a workable, awesome clip. He'll be announcing at some point when DZ will be playing his house / garage / parking lot of choice - stay tuned!
Congratulations Tristian.
The film clip is due out the beginning of January to coincide with DZ's and Howls tour - "I Hear It's Blood"

DZ AND HOWL HEAR TOUR IS A BLOOD BATH
DZ and Howl unveil a cooperative stabbing upon the East Coast with the ‘I Hear It’s Blood’ tour, set to begin in early January.
The ‘I Hear It’s Blood’ tour crams the Brisbane and Ballarat miscreants together for a lightning five date tour that takes them across the East Coast from January 8 to January 15th.
DZ have spent a significant portion of 2009 by grabbing the attention of party goers and music critics alike with their debut release of ‘Ruined My Life’, an EP that captures the intensity and fury of their live performance.
DZ’s two singles, Teeth and Blue Blood have gotten significant attention from Triple J and community stations, with excellent reviews for their EP and live shows from festivals such as Park Life and Come Together, and support slots with the likes of I Heart Hiroshima and Wolf n Cub.
After stumbling across sudden success by taking out the Triple J Unearthed High competition earlier this year with their ripper first single ‘Blackout’, young upstarts from the rural Victorian town of Ballarat ‘Howl’ are now set to hurtle themselves into the van and cause havoc while delivering their own brand of garage punk to crowds up and down the east coast of Australia.
Having just had their follow up single (taken from their soon to be released self titled EP) ‘I Hear It’s Love’ added to rotation on radio, these six teenagers are showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.
